Absolutely No Formaldehyde!
Formaldehyde is a chemical used widely by the manufacturing industry as a component within building materials and household items. In 2004 the International Association for Research on Cancer (IARC) identified formaldehyde as a known carcinogen. One of the most significant sources of formaldehyde exposure within the home can be attributed to pressed wood products that contain urea-formaldehyde resins.

On July 7 2010, President Obama signed into law S. 1660, the Formaldehyde Standards for Composite Wood Products Act, which establishes national air emission standards for formaldehyde in domestic and imported composite wood products.

e2e does not replace formaldehyde with a lesser known or yet-regulated toxin - our material doesn't require it. As a matter of fact, there are no toxins or petroleum products present in our materials, what-so-ever! Our materials are also inherently flame-retardant; not only making the living environment safer but increasing the possibilites of our building products.
